Up Class 1, Then Down Via Apple and Pear
Hiked up via the class 1 Elk Mountain Trail. Ventured over to the base of the summit boulder, then returned via Apple and Pear, and through Valley of Boulders. Great day to be out in the wilderness .. but aren't they all? --mark d.
