Fuente-Alamo Hills

Fuente Alamo is a small place in the southwest of Spain. It is located about 200 miles land inward from Alicante.
I have been here in 2004 for almost 2 months to map the geology af an area of about 40 square kilometers. This was my first years fieldwork for my study of Earth Scieces at Amsterdam University.
It was a great place to be. The surroundings are beautiful and there are many peaks (hills) from just under and just above 1000m to be climbed (hiked). The climate is very dry and it was quite hot there in june. Everyday sunny and about 35-40 degrees (C).
I took some pics during my stay there, hope you'll like them: Enjoy!

Great pictures!

And it's quite funny to see a dutchman down here in Spain (he, he...). Glad to see you enjoyed your stay, thanks for sharing it!
