WWI Tunnels
This route was amazing. Full of World war I history. It also makes you sad at the same time.
Climbed together with Koen. We were early in the season. As a result we didn't see a single person on the route all day. Parts of the tunnel system were still covered with ice (very slippery) as well as knee deep water with a layer of ice on it. The only option is taking off your shoes and socks and just walk through the water. I guess it's better to take this route in summer when the water,snow and ice is gone. Still, for us it was good fun and an amazing day out.
