Giant fir tree

Nicknamed "Guardian of the Cibin", Bradul uriaş (RO) is the most representative fir tree in Romania.

Its age is estimeted at almost 500 years, height is about 40 m and at least 6 men are needed to hug its stem.

Widest in Romania?

Do you mean this fir has the widest trunk of all Romania's firs?

Hard to say

IMHO, there should be even more giant firs in an unexplored pristine woodlands of Romania. But this one is the most iconic with 650 cm in circumference.
