I saw a slide show by Mario a year or so ago, it was fantastic! Billy Goats galore! I tip my hat to his rugged acheivments in the Bitterroots. Thanks for including him in this write up.

I really like your page. The story of Mario the Mountain Goat adds such a nice touch to it. Plus, I'm always glad to see the facts such as precise distance, elevation gain, class etc. rather than subjective statements "easy" or "difficult". Thanks for putting this up.

I find it interesting that you're happy to see "precise" route information. I've received a PM or two from a few who believe such knowledge removes the mystery from a route. I, on the other hand, like to have some idea of what I’m in for when I determine my choice of routes. I prefer to let nature and the weather provide the “mystery.”
