Gonzo's Lament
With Chris D. from Colorado Springs. Good route to combine with Turkey Foot Crack. I combined the first two pitches with a 60m rope. Just makes it so if you place a lot of gear and don't extend it properly, you will have rope drag. The crux was actually at the top of the 1st pitch, a weird beached whale mantle. The notch atop the 2nd pitch made for a comfortable belay. The 3rd pitch was outstanding and sustained at the grade, following a steep crack the whole way. The 4th pitch offered some fun OW climbing at the grade. 3rd and 4th pitch made up for sub standard climbing on the 1st and 2nd pitches.
