Re: The Bushwhack Boogie?Yes, ha, ha! Don't know your experience, but in our mountains these dense dwarf-pines are extremely unpleasant. Their branches are strong and you can't advance in any other way but walking on branches. Every now and then you lose balance and fall off, so making 50 m can take you almost half an hour. If possible, you should try to move in crossing the slope, slightly descending. Going directly down doesn't work, because branches are more tiny at the and and again you fall down. Usually you fall into this trap when descending by a nice terrain (scree or grass), which gets closed.
