Ruffis, 5.11b***  Sucess!

A sustained and physical under roof traverse. A lot of hands, but zero feet on a vertical wall. Definitely a more pumpy route at the grade vs technical. All the gear is bomber. Careful rope management necessary to avoid it getting stuck behind you. Can belay off of Cat’s Cradle’s rap. Double #.5 to #3. Triple #1’s. 90’.

Cat’s Cradle, 5.8***  Sucess!

A good route for the Voo at the grade. Start just left of the obvious roof for Ruffis. Stem up for about 30’ to a ledge out right. Then climb a fun hands dihedral to a fixed rap. Mp.com has it at 5.8+, but I thought it was just a pleasant and fast 5.8. Single to #3. 85’.

Best of the Blues, 5.10+**  Sucess!

Rated 5.10+ in MP.com and 5.10a in a local guide. The short roof crux is definitely 5.10+, but the rest of the route is well below the grade. Start from a boulder, steeping up to place a wire or offset cam. Easy climbing straight up to the roof. It is a #4 roof, with a #3 protecting underneath and #4 on top. Chimney up a meter and then transition to stacked hands whilst kicking your heel or foot out right to a small edge. Very physical move or two. Then it eases way up again to the slung (2023) block and comfortable and scenic belay. Single from #2 to #4 is all I placed outside of a small offset cam to start. Rap the route, good cord as of 2023. 60’.

South Face  Sucess!

The south face is home to several good single pitch routes. I've accessed the summit plateau 3 ways: Cave Crack (5.6), Hassler's Hatbox route (5.7), and Cat's Cradle (5.8+).
