I started early and climbed Haystack 3 BM before work.

In the morning, I climbed in the morning to take advantage of frozen snow, mud, and scree (all of which were frozen) and climbed Haystack 3 Benchmark.

Alone and after work, I climbed Haystack 3 BM via the steep direct route up the west face.

I wanted to climb Haystack 3 BM at sunset, but conditions were too bad, so I turned around and headed over to Peak 5750 and Eagles Nest Rock and made night ascents of those. I stopped to watch the sunset on Grand Mesa on the way to the trailhead.

In the morning, I made the scramble and hike of Haystack 3 BM. I climbed in the snow and since it was cold, all the mud was frozen. The views were nice. After work, Kim and I climbed Dinosaur Hill.

Shaylee and I climbed Haystack 3 BM in the evening. We took the direct route up the west face. It is a short, but strenuous routes. We reached the summit not long before sunset. The views were really nice.

Kimberly and I hiked up Haystack 3 Point from the north. We parked at the Third Flat Trailhead and took some of the trails heading south to the end of the tracks. We then headed cross country along the scenic ridge to Haystack 3 Point. It was a fine viewpoint. After enjoying the views we headed back down.

Work was cancelled because of the snowstorm (which hasn't hit here yet). First I headed up Haystack 3 Benchmark. It was a steep, but fairly short climb. I got some nice photos of the approaching storm.
