Second time
My first visit was about 20 years ago to do some of the rock climbs - not sure which ones now! This was my second visit, a grey day where we walked an enjoyable 14 mile tour of 7 Tors.

A great place...
in a great landscape. we walked on the Rock, because we haven´t any gear with us ;-).

Despite having visited this site several times it never occurred to me that there were established rock-climbing routes here. Next time round I'll definitely be taking gear with me!
I went to college just down the road. Did my first multi-pitch lead on the Low Man rocks (Aviation). Been to the top many many times, both as a climber and a walker. This is an excellent start point for hikes out across the moors (also the car park usually has an ice cream van!!).
