Höllenfels  Sucess!

I was on the northern top of the Höllenfelsen and I have to say, that it was very exciting ! The Höllenfels is a new rock for me, which is still unknown by myself ; but now, finally, I know this beautiful and wild sandstone rock. From the northern summit, the highest of all, I discovered a magnificient panorama ; from left to right : Friedrichsfels (Luger Fritz), Hornstein, Lug (village), Nesselberg, Haselstein, roads cross of Hauenstein / Spirkelbach / Schwanheim, Hülsenberg, Hauenstein, Neding, Falkenburg, Hermersberg, Rauhberg and Bavariafels ... The ascent wasn't very easy (difficult enough ! ), but the panorama was to gratifiant : a huge massive success, with in more, a fabulous sunny weather and a perfect blue sky ! Yes, it's too and too strong ...

Better this time  Sucess!

Second climb in June after work. Again scrambled up the western slopes to come onto the summit platform from the top. briefly contemplated leaping over to the top of the twin towers but couldn't bring up the guts. Went over to Luger Friedrich instead.

Fog!  Sucess!

First climb of Höllenfelsen after having been fooled around Rödelstein in the morning. The whole area of Lug was fogged out so there were no views to be had.
