I brought snowshoes but at the Temple Mountain TH parking lot it became evident they weren't needed. Seventy minutes up in twilight and sixty minutes back in the dark with about half a foot of snow on the ground. The lights of the Wachusett Mountain ski area were clearly visible to the south from the summit.

Route Climbed: Wapack Trail (from the North) Date Climbed: 11/27/03Holt Peak is basically viewless due to tree cover during the summer. Late fall only remotely bring out a view.
