Thanks! That's some quality german rhyming...you are lucky that bears here in the states don't usually understand german.
Gruss an Annie und noch viel Spass beim Bergsteigen diese Saison!
Annie gruesst Dich zurueck und wir wuenschen Dir einen schoenen Sommer.
She tells me from looking at your website that you are from 45 minutes south of where she grew up in Fulda. And that your Lederhosen are to die for. ;- )
I'm glad you liked my Lederhose :) You're right, Fulda is not far away. Unfortunately, it's not Bavaria ;) but some other (lesser) state (I forget the name). jk
I was the one who commented on your awesome photo of Mt. Thomson.
I lived in Washington state back in the 80's. Afterwards, moved down to Arizona ... had the privilege of constructing trails in the Superstition Mtns (wilderness). One of the guys I worked with wore one of those "CAMMO"-baseball caps - YES, he REALLY blended in with the locals, even though he was a surfer dude from Florida. NICE!!! I really love your trip report. Regards to your cool adventures!
so you could summit, after seeing bears is probably the worst thing you could possibly have done. But hey if they started chasing you guys, at least she had the bum knee, so you wouldn't have to worry about outrunning the bears!
The Bears are killing me this year. What happened to the D?
Yeah, sorry about Idaho football. Are people there Seattle or Denver fans?
I'm glad people are still enjoying this TR a couple years later. Can't believe we've already been married for 1 and 1/2 years too! No bears since, (except for the football kind).
