Several visits
Great place to cross-country ski for a short day. In the summer, the hiking trails are equally short but the history surrounding Ironton and remaining cabins are worth a visit.
Some decent camping sites are scattered around here as well.
I stopped at Ironton several times over the past 3 years. My son loves to go back country skiing there, we hiked the trail in the summer. I sometimes run there for a quick aerobic work out after climbing in the Ice Park. Duchess loves it there!
