Magnifique!
Beautiful view from up by the SE base of the cone after some laborious climbing up ash filled stream beds. Could see Karymsky Lake and surrounding volcanoes. Only heavy degassing while up there but lots of explosions viewed while in the area. Also hiked round the lake to see some geysers and general scenery. Lots of bear prints but no bears seen.
