Fun route!  Sucess!

As we hiked up to the Saarbrückner Hütte, all we knew about the route above it was that there would be some steel. But that could mean anything from a few cables beside an exposed but otherwise easy hiking trail, to an extremely difficult Via Ferrata.
At the hut, I asked the warden about it, and he put our worries to rest: it was a proper Via Ferrata, but only grade B/C.
We didn't bring Via Ferrata gear, but we had a rope, so Wilco and I roped up and climbed together, clipping in on the steel cables that were lining the route. It proved to be easy, so we made good time and enjoyed ourselves. The route was popular that day, with several other groups as well as a fast solo climber on it at the same time as us.
