Kulshan Cabin Interior, July 30, 1981

Photo of my brother preparing dinner. We made camp inside the cabin on our trip to the summit. The Ranger station warned us that there were no emergency supplies in the cabin due to a recent avalanche and instructed us to take plenty of supplies, and to use the cabin because of a grizzly sighting. The weather on the mountain was cold and rainy and we encountered several small mud slides and uprooted trees on the trail.
