Looking up at the summit from...
Looking up at the summit from the entrance gully to the glacier. The sloughalanches didn't concern us, but the almost-expired serac visible at center did. So we kept to the right side of the gully so we could make a fast scramble to the safety of slabs if we had to. This would be your typical conditions in June. This winter was a dry one, so we we had June conditions in May. May 26, 2005.
