WindyThe most notable circumstance was the wind. Is 120kph sufficient to lift a human? Multiple gusts knocked me down. One actually lifted me off both feet. I was kept alert along the final ridge and scramble.

Amazing mountainClimbed from Tjentiste, Republika Srbska. It was a very enjoyable hike. Also the route marking has been recently renewed so we didn't have any problems finding the right way :) Really amazing views from the top with perfect weather conditions during the whole day.

A beautiful dayFrom Prijevor I hiked and scrambled up the NW face, then descended to Lake Trnovačko.
I carried bivvy gear, stove and food because I wasn't sure how long it all would take and I started very late. The climb went real fast, but the descent to the lake was much longer than I had expected.
By the time I reached the lake, I reckoned I had just enough time left to make it back to Prijevor before it would be totally dark, so I continued - but I hadn't looked at the map closely enough, and had failed to notice that it wasn't just 5 km with 100 m elevation gain; no, it was 200 m down and 300 m up! When I got to where the trail descended, I realized my mistake, and picked up the pace. I just made it back to Prijevor on the brink of darkness.

Successful SoloHad a great time soloing up the NorthWestern route. Route was hard to find the start of, but a sweet girl in a little hut above the parking lot at Prijevor was kind enough to point me in the right direction. After that, it was easy to follow red markers up to the Summit.
Some sketchy rock and the 'cables' are in poor condition, so best to feel sure footed.
Climbed the Montenegro summit as well, and descended to the lake and back out to Prijevor.

north / east routeThe north / east route is shorter than the other one, but probably steeper. Start at approx 1653 m on a col ( N 43.30474 / E 018.74544) accessible from a mostly unpaved road starting from Tjentiste (I suggest to spend the night at the hotel being slightly further from the point where the road start in direction of maglic (crossing located in front of an old gas station). The climb is very nice, though it can be slipery with wet weather. There are several long iron cables to protect exposed sections.
the ridge is reached at 2344 (N 43.27879 / E 018.73680) important point if you get lost in the fog.
From there the summit is not far (10 to 15 mn) with a short steep section requiring hands use.

It is said the montenegrin nearby summit is slightly higher (2 m more) but anyway it's not the highest top of all this massif.
This route is enjoyable but needs experienced hikers at ease with some quite easy scrambing. This doesn't mean you should automtically follow locals advice to use the services of a local guide to climb this route!

Most picturesque area... that I have ever been to, probably. A great hike and surprised to find snow in July! Took it easy and made a nice day of it.
