I grew up at the base of Mahagony. I have fond memories of a scout orientation course I got myself and my patrol lost on. If you search the West face long enough, you might see the "Great Wall of China" cliffs about half way up....
I climbed the peak during spring sometime in the late 1990's via Grove Creek and the SE Ridge.
