"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

With DoloresWith Rachael. Climbed via Fish Creek with Dolores, the ridge crest was fun!

Lovely October dayStarted at Fish Creek, did Dunn Peak first, then went onto Middle Peak and finally Dolores. Windy, not a soul out there. Views of Wilson group outstanding!

From DunnCombined Middle with Dunn and Dolores that made for a nice 7 hour loop from Fish Creek. The west ridge of Middle is a bit tricky with snow. The ridge run down to the Dolores saddle was fun, pretty exposed in spots on the north side.

Third time's a charm! This was my third attempt! In May 2009 I was chased off twice by electrical weather, the second time just minutes from the summit. This time I completed the entire loop over Dunn, Middle and Dolores. Middle Peak's west ridge was more interesting than expected with the fresh snow - reportedly class 2+ when dry.

Middle PeakA scenic but less-traveled mountain at the western edge of the San Juans.
