from Tibble Fork Reservoir - got to Great Western trail route / county line, and the scenic ridge route. Epic day on snow! With Akiko, Kelly and Kyanoush (Wasatch Mt Club hike).

Solo with the dogs
Hiked Mill Canyon Peak from Mill Canyon Spring. Decided to take the north ridge down and tag Peak 9851. Although I was successful in that endeavor, it was a heinous bushwack with lots and lots of stickers. Although I came out fine, my dogs were very unhappy with the stickers in their fur.

2nd time for a geocache
My second time up but this time I came up for the geocache (which I found). On the way up I found a samsung5 phone and so I picked it up and was able to return it to the owner who had lost it 2 weeks prior. He had returned twice during that time trying to find it so he was one happy camper when I handed it over. This is one of the best viewpoints in the Wasatch and I love the hike.

Classic Hike
We came up the easy way. There was still enough vert to get me sweaty, especially with all the clouds in the air.
This peak is wonderful. You're in forest most of the time and the views are great. You get the east side of Timp and the whole might and glory of the Alpine Ridge. A sea of clouds below us didn't hurt the views either. I would like do go back in winter.

Stunning!
As far as Wasatch views go, Mill Canyon is top notch. A beautiful autumn morning complete with fall foliage, cloud-filled valleys and canyons, Timp + the alpine ridge. 10/10, would hike again.

Gorgeous Evening
Started at Tibble Fork, and went up Mill Canyon, up the switchbacks to ridge trail 057. It was 6.5 miles to the camping spot at the trailhead. And another 3.5 miles to the top of Mill Canyon peak. I ran down the old trench road trail to Forest Road 085 and finished the loop back to Tibble Fork. 17 total miles and just over 4,000' elevation gain. 3 hours and 37 minutes total roundtrip.

Mill Canyon Peak
Hiked up with Greg Jagielski and Ben Stokes. We started at Tibble Fork Reservoir and followed Tibble Fork up to the long SW ridge and on up to the top. On our decent we bombed straight off of the summit and connected with Mill Canyon and followed that all the way to the bottom. Great winter route and winter hike.

Mill Canyon Peak
I went up the route from Cascade Springs road. The summit had a cairn and the point farther south on the ridge had a cairn too. Many people mentioned lady bugs and I also saw them up there.
... the aspens changing colors. I was a bit early for the fall colors but the hike/run was enjoyable and the views of Timp are great.

Easy peak w/ great views
I've climbed this twice, both times from the trailhead off the Cascade Springs road. The first time was solo, the second w/ Doug. It was the last day before they closed the Alpine loop road for the winter. We had grouse hunters shooting all around us.

From south
I noticed a lot of runners (err walkers) on the trail before I took off up the south ridge and found out that it was a 100 mile Endurance race. One guy told me he was on mile 88. I thought that was last week. Kudos to those folks (there were a lot of them) but I had a great hike on a nice day to the summit. I found one witness benchmark and no register so I left a register in a spot on the cairn (south side). No one on the peak itself but I encountered a lot of motorcyclists and some equestrians. The motorcycle guys were a bit befuddled by all the runners as it made their "fun" not so fun (trying to stay out of the runners way)
