Yes,and the water in the lake (tarn?) must be
crystal clear. Would be interesting to find a
list of all the High Uinta lakes by name and
size, and whether they have catchable fish in
them or not. Is this one called Dollar?

Re: Yes,I'd think a list of primary lakes/ponds would exist but the one in this pic is not named as far as I know. It is above (south) of Dollar Lake maybe a half mile or so.
"High Uintas Backcountry" by the Probst brothers is an essential reference book. Most of the hikes in it end at a lake and the authors describe the fishing situation in detail.
