Summer HikeHiked Porrara from the north along the long north ridge. Reached the summit around 10:30 and headed onwards to Ogniquota. Wonderfully panoramic hike

Criminally underrated MountainVery impressive snow cornices. The summit cross (almost 4m high!) was still completely buried under an incredible mass of snow. The view from the top is truly unique: 5 mountain ranges (Majella, Gran Sasso, Velino/Sirente, Marsicani and Matese)! The north ridge, from Guado di Coccia, is highly recommendable.
