Awesome day!
Side trip from Carthew-Alderson trail from Lake Cameron to the village. Very clear, warm but chilly when exposed because of the wind. False summit was deceiving. About 1.5 hrs from the Carthew-Alderson pass, plus 20 minutes down to Carthew Lake. Another party was going up Carthew while we ascended Alderson, it took them about 30 minutes less to go up and down their peak. There's a faint trail most of the way up, follow it!

Alderson/Carthew summits
Great Canada Day, bad weather with rain and high winds.
Parked at Cameron Lake, hiked to Summit Lake, then up standard scramble route on Mt. Carthew, then south to scramble Mt. Alderson. Long and interesting day with Martin Siddles.
