This mountain wants to kill you. It's steep, loose, and sloppy. Near the summit, you'll have a choice:
A series of class 3 benches covered with debris ranging from fine sand and gravel to shoe box size rocks.
or
Contouring around to the NNE where it's steeper, looser, and dirty.
I ascended the benches and descended the steep, loose dirt. If I were to ever do this mountain again (and I won't) I would do it the same way.
If you're solo, a helmet is optional. If you're part of a group, a helmet is mandatory.
I was the first signature in the register in over a year.

This was a fun day trip. Unfortunately I lost one of my cameras up here. Fortunately it was my not as good one which was having major issues. It was a bit hot on the way down.
