"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Took road both waysThis mountain seems to get a steady stream of visitors. There is now a new can and the 2008 register has survived, with a few missing pages. Pleasant hiking temps below ridgeline but a little windy and nippy at the top. Beautiful clouds and lots of air traffic.

Very cold and windyVery cold and windy up top...enough to make your fingers go numb and freeze over pools of water. Hiked up primary route, register was wet and would appreciate a new can to keep it dry.
