Wet and snowy
Cold and snowy summer in 1999 and our July ascent of Warspite was no different, lots of snow and wet rock on upper section of the peak. Great day out with Ian H.
Route Climbed: West Ridge Date Climbed: September 19, 2005
Been a record setting wet summer and even more precarious fall. Saw a moose on this one, always a delight. Mountains loaded with plenty of snow already (late September 2005). Tonight, September 20, the low is -8C down in the valleys. Won’t even get above freezing in Yoho tomorrow. Heading to the front range for a few and getting the skis tuned and axes sharpened. Cheers.
