Mountain Bike Damage in the Partridge Hills

Don't let these guys tell you that MTB's leave only as much damage as foot traffic. These tracks near the summit of Partridge Hill are so extensive that I thought at first that this was ATV damage. It's not.

Not so sure

When I was there on Monday, I was almost run over by two guys on motorized dirt bikes...

You may have a point

Although it's moot. This is a part of Gowlland Tod Provincial Park and all bikes are illegal - motorised or not.

Wrong

If bikes aren't supposed to be at Partridge Hill why does the BC Parks map of the area distinctly show Mountain Biking and the trails which bikes are allowed on (most of them)? http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/gowlland_tod/trail_map_north.pdf
