Mt. Lemmon
Did a one way hike from the top down to Santa Catalina State Park via Romero Canyon. I guess you can call that a climb.
See trip report.

Windy Point (Mount Lemmon)
Kessler and I first headed for Windy Point on Mount Lemmon to do some climbing. The temperature was pleasant, even in the morning and we climbed several routes.
We then headed for La Milagrosa Canyon for some canyoneering. We hiked (it was hot, even in February) to the head of the canyon and dropped in. There were three rappels including one into a long and deep swimming hole. We could have avoided it, but since it was February, we decided to take the more interesting and direct route through the swimming section. It was chilly, but we quickly warmed up.
Once we were at the bottom of the last rappel we found that we left the cell phone on a rock, so we found a climbing route to the rim of the canyon where Kessler rapped in to retrieve the cell phone.
It was afternoon, but we still wanted to climb Picacho Peak, so we hurried and drove to the state park.

At night
I hiked up the road from the Summerhaven Community Center, which leaves the bathrooms open overnight (very thoughtful of them). Took about ninety minutes or so. On the way down I spotted a tiny bit of phosphorescent material on the road and when I turned on my light to see what type of debris it was I found out it was a tiny worm with a phosphorescent head! The summit was a crowded mess of buildings and fences.

Ran up Marshall Gulch with Ben
Ran up Marshall Gulch with Ben while testing out my foot that I haven't run on in a couple of months. Ran down Aspen and killed my foot 1/2 mile from the finish unfortunately. Love the drive and the trail.

Biked it from the Safeway, which makes ~32mi one-way and ~6600ft gain. Despite some rain and clouds, it was a pretty fun ride.

Lemmon
Started at the ski resort parking lot and hiked the road to the top. The summit area is all fenced in and gated shut. There were a lot of maintenance workers up there when I got to the gate. I asked one of them as they walked by the gate if it was ok if I went on up to the highest point. He didn't seem to give a crap one way or the other, so I opened the gate and continued on to the highpoint. On the way down I went by the Pusch Ridge Wilderness HP, which is located pretty close to the top of the ski lift.

Summit from Catalina State Park
w/ Ashley. Backpacked from Catalina State Park to Wilderness of Rocks and camped for the night. Hit the summit the next morning before the long, grueling hike out. Weather was nice; in the 70s at the start of the hike, dropping to around freezing up top overnight. In total, 28.0 miles and 8,500 ft accumulated elevation gain.
