This view of the Needle in the Sandia Mountains is taken from the North Crest Trail 130N about 3/4 mile north of the Radio Towers from a prominent bulge in the crest. The photo is looking west from 10,458 ft. The 4th class East Saddle Route ascends the ridge on the right.
