great pic

it's weird how the alps in europe look so much higher than the sierras in california. This kind of reminds of a mountain in the Alaska range. :)

yeah you're absolutely right! Some years ago i was driving trough yosemity NP and i realized i was driving at 3000m/10.000ft by car and I was still surounded by trees. In the alps you would already be in the eternal snow at that height! Great difference indeed,and yes i can see which mountain you mean ;) Thanks for your comment, cheers Lodewijk
