North Ridge from Sentinel
Pat and I followed the ridge south from the summit of Sentinel Peak. Two outstanding features of this climb are the mountain goats ... they were right there at the peak ... and the view of Cusick. I don't think you can get a complete look at Cusick's east side from top to bottom from any other vantage point.
Route Climbed: North Ridge Date Climbed: October 2, 2004
Climbed this one as part of an extended 3 day, 6 peak hike. There were goats everywhere. Its a big pile of shale and limestone with fossils. I doubt many get up here because this is one of the more inaccessible parts of the Wallowas. It was an outrageously fine day.
