"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Route Climbed: Observation Point/Echo Canyon trail Date Climbed: May 24th, 2004Great hike with everything a hiker would want along the way. Half way up the lower switchbacks is the trail to Hidden Canyon. A fantastic side trip most overlook.

Route Climbed: Weeping Rock Date Climbed: 2001 FebruaryHad a good time with a good friend and saw an excellent view from the top. The snow on the path near the top was a deep-orange/pink snow-cone-looking slush from mixing with the colored soil.

Route Climbed: Weeping Rock Trailhead Date Climbed: Nov 17, 2001, Nov 15, 2003This is one of my favorite trails in Zion. I love the parts of the trail that are blasted out of the cliff. It's a longer hike than Angels Landing so it is less crowded. The view is outstanding looking straight down the canyon. The lower part of Hidden Canyon is a nice side trip.
