Product Description

Bow Valley Rock needs no introduction! This long-awaited new edition to multi-pitch rock climbs in the Bow Valley - from the prairies to the Banff National Park boundary - offers detailed route descriptions, approach and descent information, as well as topos, maps and route-marked crag photos.

Chris Perry has led the development of climbing areas west of Calgary for several years. Joe Josephson has several new rock climbs, ice routes and winter and alpine ascents to his credit. Both Perry and Josephson, whose influence has shaped the growth of the sport in Canada, have authored several other climbing guides to the Rockies.

Bow Valley Rock
I have climbed over 30 routes utilizing Perry's guide book It is exceptional in comparison to the average. That being said, Andy Genereux has published a more updated tool for Yam's routes if that is your main summer objective. But for climbing up and down the Canadian Rocky corridor, Bow Valley Rock is your bible.
