Looking over Mały Staw (Little Tarn) towards Śnieżka. The mountain hut by the tarn is called Samotnia. The upper hut, now known as Strzecha Akademicka, used to be called Hampelbaude and is believed to be the oldest mountain hut in the Karkonosze.
