On January 18, 2006, I was able to link up peaks 5226 & 5219 via the approximate line shown in this photo.
From the obvious, deep saddle between the two peaks, make for the most apparent weakness on the north side of peak 5219. This weakness is the blue dotted line in the photo. Although the going is tedious, once in the chute constituting the weakness in the photo, follow your nose to the gentle slope above. Harder climbing is always nearby, but this chute can be followed class 2.
From the gentle slopes above the chute, follow easy terrain to the summit.

Verified Feb 2011Tried the route from the saddle, went OK, though the route I ended up taking seemed more like class 3 near the upper side of the ridge.
