What a trip!

You must have had some kind of muscles by the end of the first week or so!

I am so amazed that you did this trip all on your own and with such accomplishment; all those miles up and down mountains but you obviously loved it!

Sounds like you knew early on what you wanted and went for it!

It was a great trip and as I said the scenery was awesome.

If I only knew then what I know now about exercise nutrition and recovery, things would have been a little easier. Although cardio wise I got really strong, I lost 20 pounds on the trip...some of that being muscle I'm sure. Too many miles and not enough calories! But hey, when you are 18 and have your mind made up you want something bad enough...it's pretty amazing what you can accomplish.
