Must be the most boring hike I ever did
... and I did it for the second time now! Of course it's the highpoint of Fuerteventura so you have to do it. But hiking on a dirt road for 90% of the time is not my idea of fun. The views are excellent though. An 812m peak can be impressive if it drops off towards sea level on one side.

Pico de la Zarza Normal route
With my wife Florence and my little boy Anthony 2.5 in the back pack, nice hike up the Pico de la Zarza from Morro de Jable. Beautiful views of Fuerteventura west coast.
A nice first of the year !

Ravens!
Climbed Pico de la Zarza along the normal route. Clouds on top and a flock of huge ravens, which performed acrobatic flights down the east face of the mountain.
