Accursed bordersI'll have to spare some time to read it all through but from the beggining and the end seems to be another adventurous trip!

Re: Accursed bordersThanks Peter! Yeah that was one hell of adventure! Sorry for making fun of the highest Hungarian peak, maybe that was my little revenge for your customs officers ;)
cheers,

Re: Accursed bordersYeah, luckily :) And Kekes is still higher than the highpoints of e.g. Belgium and Holland, it deserves a page on SP!

Re: Accursed bordersSounds like a challenge :) Well, I don't have time for it now, but until then here's a pic and hiking trail sections from Gyöngyös and from Parád. Funny to write all this to a Prokletije trip report comment, but well... :D

Most inspiring report!Very inspiring report! I would really like to try some of the mountains in ex-YU/Albania under snow conditions but after having read your report Maja Jezerce emerges as a strong candidate and is more than tempting! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Cheers

Re: Most inspiring report!Parakalo (Παρακαλω)! By the time I get the crew together the snow will be gone:-P I'm not Greek by the way as you might been led to believe - just for the record. You seem to be really talented when it comes to languages - great!

Re: Most inspiring report! That's one of just 3-4 Greek words I know... and Serbian is really quite similar to Polish, so no problem to learn for me. Are you Swedish? The only Swedish word I can now recall is øl :)

Swede?See any blond hair and blue eyes?Didn't think so but yes I am Swedish well uhm..half of me is - never figured out which part though. I see you have your priorities straight "öl" which incidentally is oil in German! Very good but its A- for the spelling hope you are not too upset about it? Anyway, it is the thought that counts:-)

Re: Swede?Haha I must've confused it with the Danish spelling... it reminds me of oil too but it actually has the same origin as English 'ale'!

Re: Great report and pictures!!Thanks a lot! Indeed you get this 'Himalayan' feeling there, especially that those mountains are so wild and remote.
cheers,
