Exposed moves on the
Southwest Talus Slopes Route of Reynolds Mountain are the norm, but they are not difficult. This seemed like the most airy part of the climb. Ellen is scooting on a ledge that narrows to about 18 inches wide around this corner and to her right. Loose rock is abundant and holds need to be tested often. Left to right in the background: Gunsight Mountain, Mount Edwards and Little Matterhorn. In the foreground is Dragontail Peak. Glacier National Park, Summer, 2006.
