Just Another Roadside Attraction- 45’-5.9*
Perhaps the easiest 5.9 trad route in Jtree. I took one look at it and soloed it which I don’t do at 5.9 in Jtree much. Straightforward mostly hand crack(s) up heavily varnished rock. Definitely more 5.7 than 5.9 by Jtree standards. Medium to large gear anchor. Walk off climbers left. Single rack.
a week or so at J Tree was everything Robin and I hoped for climbing during my paternity leave with a 3 month old at the base before he could move very far. Hope to get back before I need the boys as my rope gun.
