Sandblast
With Michael sometime in 2010. I led both pitches, remember struggling with the first pitch a bit, cold, windy, etc. Thought the rock was all pretty bomber by RR standards. I bypassed the off width start by using a bit of Sand Felipe. The 2nd pitch was quite enjoyable. Both fixed stations are shared with Triassic Sands. I would rate the first pitch of Sandblast as difficult as any pitch on Triassic and have led all the pitches on both routes. Worth doing. Sand Felipe, Sandblast, Triassic and Amber make for one hell of a day of moderate climbing at RR. Does not get much better.
