Has its own charms  Sucess!

Nice range for winter and spring hiking. Would have been quite a place back in its wilder days, with grizzlies, bandits, and travel times measured in days.

Invasive Weed Mapping Through Chaparral Sucks!  Sucess!

I spent a week down in the Santa Anas in June 2016 mapping invasive weeds for the Irvine Ranch Conservancy. We didn't hike on trails so the bushwhacking was intense! Not the most enjoyable week. Pretty scenery, though.

Interesting! I didn't know that Irvine Ranch held these programs... good on them and on you!

Nice hikes  Sucess!

Closest range to my home so I've spent many hours hiking throughout the Cleveland National Forest.
