Re: BeautifulOverlook Trail is the trail to Seneca Rocks Summit and a really nice overlook, which is just before an ominous warning sign to the Summit "fin" (pictured). The sign states that proceeding is dangerous, as a girl fell 500 ft. to her death just 2 weeks before I went (in front of her boyfriend and brother). The trail is about 1.5 miles and 1000 vertical feet. I had to look up specifics about the trail from my log....

You Bet !!Seneca Rocks is in central West Virgina. It is a 500 foot fin that is 15-20 feet wide. great climbing area, far less crowded than the New River Gorge...

Re: You Bet !!Thanks for the info. I don't think the Overlook Trail existed when I climbed there many years ago. I'll have to hike it next time I visit friends in the area.
