With Ben from ABQ. The Watchtower has the best rock in the Sandia's. However, there are few moderates established on it. This is one and it is worthy if you are local, prob not if you are visiting (better routes at the grade on other formations). The crux traverse to start the 2nd pitch climbs and protects well in my opinion despite comments on Mp.com. The rest of the route climbs below the grade and goes fairly fast. The 5.10d pitch on the neighboring route, Excalibur is excellent.
