Re: It is Cool!It was actually taken from the dome's 'parent' volcano Santa María. You can get an idea of the geometry in this picture. This kind of configuration where you can see into the vent is fairly unusual. Mt. Meru is another excellent example while Volcán de Colima has grown a little too much to be seen into from Nevado de Colima.
