Re: Shepherd Crest hikeand while we are at it, "coordinates" are a very nice addition to SP style too, for all of us who haven't got a clue where all these beautiful lakes are :) Try dbl clicking on the little google map when you create or edit the image page.

Re: Shepherd Crest hikeDidn't I give a complete description to the trail head in the main lead in? Maybe more is needed?

Re: Shepherd Crest hikeYou are right, I haven't even read the text of the album page, it's as good as it takes. This said, SP's idea of linking and organizing stuff is more grand. At its best, SP Mountains are linked to Areas and Routes and Trailheads and Trip Reports, you name it. And pictures can be attached to all of them - in fact to many pages at once if desired. And almost everything comes with coordinates too, which links pages to topo maps and to other stuff nearby in the same geographical area.
So, an album with a well-written paragraph and nice pictures is a great starting point ... but if you use the technical means of SP website to the full extent, it could be done a whole lot nicer :)
