Re: Excellent TR!!

Well, I was thinking I might be ready for Little Si or something harder like Cedar Butte.

Re: Excellent TR!!

In 1989, when I did trail work at Mount Rainier, one of my fellow
employees wanted to climb Mount Goode.

From your viewpoint, is Goode a good objective worth trying ???

Don't seem to be

much of a gimp. Out and about at large. Where'd the name come from?

Re: Don't seem to be

Good question. I only wish I had a good answer. When I was first joining Summitpost I didn't put much thought into choosing a name, so I just used the first thing that came to mind. Gimpilator was my old AOL email name from the early school years.

THANKS

Thanks for sharing this amazing vid & post... seeing it inspired me to give Shuksan another try... I just climbed it twice in two days. While I did not summit doing this route - I was solo and there are some places one should not go solo well maybe - it was still something to say I got upto the base of the pyramid going up the route between sulphide/crystal and back to the car is 10-11 hours. From reading all of the other posts I was believing that was a 5 day endeavour LOL. Again thanks for posting this - pushing the limits & inspiring!!!

Re: THANKS

Congratulations on making it up there! My main motivation for posting is to inspire other people. So thank you for the confirmation.
