Stars and Stripes Forever, 5.9
Climbed it on July 4th by total accident. Gets praise from the local guide but the most plain Jane route I have climbed at the Needles to date. Slight of Hand to the left is a much better route.
With Michael from Israel. 7 routes in 6 days that I had yet to climb at the Needles. Success on all accounts. Pit and Pendulum was the best one of this trip and, short of the Spell, my favorite moderate route in the Needles. Slight of Hand and Stars and Stripes Forever start at the exact same spot and make sense to pair. I led them each as one long pitch. Slight is by far the better of the two.
